Mr Quiffy is the newest addition to the Mr Men literary series created by Roger Hargreaves, and is the alter ego of UK fashion designer Henry Holland. In 2011, Sanrio (the creators of Hello Kitty) acquired the licensing rights to the Mr Men and Little Miss characters from Chorion. Costumes With Character produce her exclusively for the license holders Sanrio and their approved partners Fluid World.
In 2014, Henry Holland launched a line of Mr Men-inspired clothing and Mr Quiffy travelled across Europe as part of the promotion and marketing for the new range. Mr Quiffy is a purple, inanimate, antron fleece covered character with a giant blue quiff inspired by Henry Holland’s hair. He wears lime green brogues and a huge grin.
