Standing at well over 6ft tall, Bear was created for Away Resorts’ Bear in the Woods gang and loves hanging out with Lucy and Scratch, playing make-believe and regaling the children with night time stories before sending them off to bed.
The definition of what constitutes as a puppet is broad as it is long, but in its simplest form involves the animating of a model character by means of hand, rod or string. Bear’s moveable head and mouth are controlled by the wearer’s hand in this full-fur character, with a false arm to complete this complex, high-quality costume.
